WELCOME IN BROUWERSHAVEN
The compact town of Brouwershaven was once an important centre for shipping and sea trade. This illustrious past is still reflected in its lovely town hall and grand church. Brouwershaven is located on the largest saltwater lake in Europe, Grevelingen Lake, and is now a hub for water sports and recreation.
DISCOVER ZIERIKZEE
Come and find out about the rich history of Zierikzee. Zierikzee’s most eye-catching historical monument is the St. Lievens Monstertoren Tower, also known as the Dikke Toren. During the summer, the marina on Nieuwe Haven street, which serves as the gateway to the Oosterschelde estuary, is at its most lively. It’s always bustling with local mussel fishermen and it’s a great place for sitting back and watching the ships coming in and out of the harbour; ships of all shapes and sizes, whilst you enjoy a good glass of local wine or a refreshing beer.
RELAXING IN RENESSE
Renesse is surrounded by beaches and dunes. It is a lovely village that lends itself well to fill up with guests in the summer. The Jacobskerk church forms the heart of the village with a chancel that dates back to around 1300. The chancel is the oldest part of the church followed by the tower which was added 100 years later.
EXPERIENCE BURGH-HAAMSTEDE
Burgh-Haamstede has all the ingredients needed for a great day out. Haamstede has an historic town centre complete with moted castle dating from the 13thcentury, and beaches and forests within easy reach. The best-known building is without doubt the red-and-white Westerlichttoren lighthouse which once featured on the 250 Dutch guilder note.

BROUWS MUSEUM
The museum collection includes authentic ship models, engaging also compass charts, topographic maps, maritime paintings, prints and nautical instruments. The museum also houses a cinema room (3 movies) and a library. Visit the beautiful museum garden!
REGIONAL AND AGRICULTURAL MUSEUM GOEMANSZORG
This museum in Dreischor has 4 major themes: draft horse, flax, madder and the geography of Schouwen-Duiveland. In addition, there is a herb garden and a standard-fruit orchard. There is a museum café with terrace for drinks and lunch. There is also a special focus on regional costumes and dialect.
STADHUISMUSEUM
The Town Hall museum Zierikzee tells through a special collection the story about the ups and downs of the city, its inhabitants and its relationship with the surrounding land and water. That story can be seen in the monumental building in the Centre of Zierikzee.
MUSEUMHARBOUR ZIERIKZEE
Old ships that used to be in the Delta area are in full glory in the centuries-old city harbour. In the city & Commerce yard (within walking distance) is the restoration of a boeier tour. Admission is free.
WATERSNOODMUSEUM
The Watersnoodmuseum (North Sea floods museum) brings the story of the 1953 North Sea floods to life using exhibitions and impressive eyewitness accounts. The museum and its exhibitions are housed in four gigantic concrete structures known as caissons which are the last four caissons to be put in place near the town of Ouwerkerk to seal the dike after the floods. The museum focuses on the future of water management in the Netherlands as well as its history.

You walk in in the heart of Holland pride, the storm surge barrier. You can take a boat trip on the Oosterschelde or rousing shows experience with seals and sea lions. In the Blue reef aquarium you'll be face to face with tropical sharks and stingrays.
